My Story
A Calling to Serve Christian Schools
I have spent my entire life in Christian education—first as a student, then as a teacher, administrator, Head of School, mentor, and leader. For more than thirty years, I have had the privilege of serving students, families, teachers, and school leaders in Christ-centered education.
Throughout those years, I have experienced both the incredible joys and the significant challenges of leading a Christian school. I understand the long days, difficult decisions, accreditation visits, staffing shortages, enrollment concerns, and the deep desire to faithfully fulfill the mission God has entrusted to each school.
As I have prayed about this next season, the Lord has continued to make one thing clear to me: after more than thirty years of serving within Christian schools, He is calling me to come alongside other Christian schools—encouraging leaders, strengthening teachers, and helping schools flourish.
My hope is simple.
When a Christian school leader or teacher walks away from spending time with me, I hope they leave feeling seen, heard, encouraged, and reminded of the calling God has placed on their life. I want them to know they are not carrying the weight of Christian education alone.
Whether we are discussing strategic planning, accreditation, classroom management, leadership, school culture, or teacher development, my greatest hope is that our conversations point beyond strategies and solutions and back to the One who called us into this work.
If our time together renews someone's passion, strengthens their confidence, equips them with practical next steps, and reminds them that God is still faithfully building His Kingdom through Christian education, then I will consider that time together well spent.
